Barefoot Books has recently released their new children’s book, Over in the Meadow, and the accompanying animated video! I seriously can not get this song out of my head. I know it’s based on a classic and I don’t know how I escaped being introduced to it as a child. Between girl scout camp, Sunday school, MY MOM, etc. I grew up surrounded by children’s songs. My other half thinks it’s funny/annoying how many I know; now I have a new one!
Anyway, Love it! And I love how Xavier asks, “what’s that?” pointing to the different animals. (“What’s that?” is a phrase he just picked up the other week and I’m in total Mommy-love with it right now!) He also enjoys pointing out the butterflies, but for some reason he’s not such a fan of the fish scene. That surprises me because we just re-set up our 29 gallon tank and he’s fascinated by it. He’d be happy to skip over it and get right to the spiders! But anyway, enough ramblings. Check out this darling video for yourself:
