Father’s Day is right around the corner and I have a free printable Father’s Day card for you from Disney / Hyperion Books based on the book, Daddies Do It Different.
Better yet, I have a GIVEAWAY for a copy of Daddies Do It Different, signed by the author Alan Lawrence Sitomer!

About the book:
Daddy sure doesn’t do things the way Mommy does! Just in time for Father’s Day, this hilarious picture book takes a high-spirited look at the way dads put their own spin on different parts of a child’s life–from going to a birthday party to bathtime. Alan Sitomer’s debut picture book is inspired by his own experiences as a father and winningly complemented with delightful art by Abby Carter.
Ages: 3 and up

OMG I just read this in Barnes and Noble and it was the cutest ever. Everything about it is my husband–especially leaving the house. I leave w/ snacks, sunscreen, water, extra underwear (she's 3….and every once and awhile doesn't make it to the potty). He leaves with keys, cell phone, child!

My husband doesn't overthink things (and I definitely do). He also has a knack for just playing with the kids, not trying to also clean up in the process.
my dad used to cut hotdogs up and put 'em in scrambled eggs. we kids loved 'em…my mother was horrified by them! lol
My husband is actually MORE insane than I am about safety, etc. He will question everything 10001 times- am I sure our daughter can eat that? Is it totally safe for her to go on that sliding board at the playground (that she has been on a billion times…)? He, surprisingly, is the one who wants his little princess in a protective bubble, whereas I tell her to dust it off when she falls and let her get messy with her food. Quite a reversal from what we always thought we would each be like!
My dad lets his grandkids eat ice cream at the drop of the hat. I like to think it's a great way for them to get extra calcium!

My husband does it different by making his kids a fancy breakfast every Saturday morning
Dads simply are different and don't especially look at the smaller details that Mom's do. They care they watch out for but they are simply different. Hair combed. Probably doesn't matter. Sunday shoes for the beach. What's the big deal, they're shoes. Change of clothes? Why? If messed up, so what! Different
